Vacancy Description

The Housing Service at West Berkshire has undergone a significant amount of change with an ambitious Service Improvement Programme coupled with investment designed to make it an excellent housing service and leading housing authority in the region.

We are looking for a Housing Allocations Officer to join our busy, dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our Housing Service.

You will be responsible for assessing applications to join the housing register in line with our Housing Allocations Policy, working closely both with social housing providers and other teams within the Council. You’ll also be dealing with a range of administration tasks including all aspects of Choice Based Lettings.

If you have hands on experience of working with a range of customers and administration tasks, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you!
