Vacancy Description

Public Protection Partnership is a shared environmental heath, licensing and trading standards service for Bracknell Forest, West Berkshire and Wokingham.  PPP was formed in January 2017 and delivers a high quality service to some 470,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.  As of the 1 April 2022 PPP will be a shared service for Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire for Environmental Health purposes.

We are looking to recruit a candidate to handle a range of communications from both internal and external customers and contacts.

General duties will include:

  • To produce and format a range of documents, including letters, reports, minutes and presentations, ensuring that they are accurate and well-presented meeting specifications and deadlines
  • Printing, scanning and mail merges
  • Providing administration support to the PPP Officers as required
  • Such other duties as may from time to time be necessary, compatible with the nature of the post
  • Identify, and then pursue any opportunities for service improvements
  • Promote equality as an integral part of the role, treating everyone with fairness and dignity
  • Comply with WBC health and safety policies, procedures and rules, taking reasonable care to self and others
  • Adhere to the standards set out in the WBC competency framework

Hours: 18.5, Monday - Friday
