Vacancy Description

We have a vacancy for a Schools MIS Analyst to support, advise and train West Berkshire school staff on the effective use of their Management Information Systems. This is a full time post working for 37 hours per week. 

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy talking to callers on the telephone. The main responsibilities are support for SIMS software and the underlying hardware/networking issues, including problem solving, telephone support, preparation of guidance documentation, training, and upgrades. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is keen to develop within the evolving world of Education IT. It is expected that you would make visits to schools where appropriate and be able to work on your own initiative, as well as becoming part of a committed, dedicated Education IT support team. 

The successful candidate will be computer literate with an in depth knowledge of Capita SIMS/FMS and have a detailed understanding of the administrative processes in schools and local authorities.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
