Vacancy Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Social Care, working within the Reablement service.   This is one of the key areas of work and will be a terrific opportunity for the right person.   You will be part of the Night Warden team who provide cover for the Service during the hours of 20:30 to 06:00 working 7 nights on, 7 nights off. You will visit Service Users in their homes and provide them with the “hands on” care they need at these times of day/night and provide a response service to the Out of Hours Duty Coordinator.

You must be committed to the role, be conscientious, discreet, hardworking and organised.  A current driving license and access to a vehicle are required of the role and a good geographical knowledge of the West Berks Council area would be an advantage. Experience within the care sector and Level 2 in Health and Social Care are essential.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
