Vacancy Description

Would you like to be involved in helping governing boards to become more effective and to raise standards within West Berkshire schools?

Based within the Education Service, the School Improvement and Governance Team provides advice, information and training to Headteachers, school staff and governors in our schools. The role will involve working with the Governor Services Officer which includes:

• Providing advice and information to governors and clerks via a Helpdesk
• Maintaining and developing our governor database and providing analysis and reports as required
• Maintaining all administrative systems for governor recruitment, induction and training
• Providing flexible admin support to the wider team

We are looking for someone with good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working within a school or education environment would be an advantage.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
